Chunky.Thunder.The.Pathy
Hey y’all I have a 2001 LE. It has a leak in the hatch but I’m unable to locate where because the weather seal fits very tightly.. any ideas? Sent from ya mums house
Slartibartfast
Sit in the back while someone sprays it with the hose, and see where it comes in, or if it comes in faster when they spray a certain spot. If the seal seems fine, check for rust around the hinges.

Any advice?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mr_Reverse
See if the hinge will unbolt (often the nuts will sieze on the stud) and put a thin layer of silicone sealant or mastic between the hinge and the surface where it is leaking and snug the mounting nuts down. Same thing with the light. Thin foam tape should work as well, that is usually what Nissan uses to seal around mounting holes.
Slartibartfast
Take stuff apart until you find the problem. See if the hinge bolts are loose, see if there's rust around the hinge, see if the third brake light (guessing that's what you're talking about?) seal has a problem. Where's the water come out inside the truck? If you can't find the hole from the outside, pull a trim panel or two and see if you can find it from the inside.
