rdumit
Hi, would be great to know if a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder (3.3L Petrol) Manual Transmission would be compatible with a Terrano TD27 or QD32 engine.
Slartibartfast
My understanding is that the diesel and gas engines don't share a bolt pattern. IIRC the guy on the Facebook page who put a TD27 in a (formerly) gas WD21 had to track down the correct bellhousing to get the TD27 to play nice with his automatic.
system_f
http://www.offroadexpress.kiwi/Forums/viewtopic.php?t=36606 I would take the advice from the post above and go with the FS5R30a which is behind all v-6s in the US. The good news is if you have the bell housing (front section on a FS5R30a) of the manual transmission of your engine you can take place that onto the center section of the transmission. This requires disassembling the transmission case and is not hard at all, but get the factory service manual.
