shanee11 Posted December 17, 2018 Share Posted December 17, 2018 hi all, looking for ideas on replacing the rubber/ plastic side glass seals. these have shrunk over time and become brittle. i doubt if nissan would have any and the price would be scarey. what have others used ??? i have looked for pinch moulding without success. any ideas will be appreciated. thanks , shane.. msavides Posted March 19, 2019 Share Posted March 19, 2019 (edited) the 3m stuff is really good and does not shrink. it is used for sealing up boats. not all stuff is created equal. I have done the 1994 but not the 1991 yet. the plastic trim on both started to warp out away from the chanel. I used a heat gun to heat it up and shape it back into the channel. Then used the 3m adheasive to fill the gaps. I will snap some pics when I get a Chance. BTW when I got the 1994 the previous owner put about 2 inches of clear silicone all the way around the glass.
