rc_cola_j
I have a throttle opener on my pathfinder. Does any one know how to set it to open the throttle to the appropriate amount? How much should this opener open said throttle? I can't find it in the FSM.
RCWD21
Are you talking about the small set screw like thing that meets up with the throttle cam and has an 8mm lock nut on it? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

RF600
I'm not sure about your specific application. Generally the things like that are for idle assist. Idle up when the a.c. is turned on. Possibly cold idle assist. From the pic it looks like you have a 4 cylinder? They generally won't rest completely on the throttle arm.

The plunger only extends when there is no vacuum.....so I'm assuming it's for startup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
adamzan
It is. My friends Xterra had that part fail and it would not idle worth a @!*% on initial starts. Hard for it to make oil pressure at 300rpm....
