Lsd swap quick question

Hello,

 

My brother and I picked up another pathfinder a while ago. I have a spare Lsd laying around, this pathfinder has an open diff, I want too take the Lsd apart and give it a check through then put it in. This setup has different gearing than my current setup.

 

My question is can I swap the gears on the LSD too avoid swapping the front differential? Thanks everyone!

Anytime you fiddle with ring and pinion setups you always want to check the backlash and make sure everything is within tolerance. If not you could end up with a noisy diff and bad bearings.
