kdj Posted January 28, 2016 Share Posted January 28, 2016 So I checked for a cabin filter today because my heater was so bad. Well someone had removed the old filter, which left a 3/4" X 8" open slot between the fan and the heater core. All it was doing was blowing cold air out of the fan, through the slot and most of the air never made it to the heater core. No pressure out of the vents and not very warm. Taped over the slot with duct tape (the real stuff) and I can't believe the heat and air volume blowing out of the vents now! Now to replace the blower resistor and have more than speed 4 on the fan.. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
