FYI in case anyone is interested.

I know they aren't the most awesome winches...But they've been improved over time and some folks give them a decent review and considering the price....

For the price they work. Its like $25 more to add a 2yr warranty on it.

I know several people that run these. The relay box. Open it make sure the board is actually screwed tight and the ground is good. Common on them. Also seal it good. Doesn't come sealed from factory.

Other than that they work. In long hard pulls. Sometimes will over heat the relays. Let it sit and can continue.

I know a guy who had his long enough. He turned it in under warranty for a new. Even though it wasn't broken. No questions asked it was swapped. Paid for the warranty on the new one. It has pulled me out in some binds.

May not have that fancy three letter name. But will get you out a bad spot.

Only if you want the weight to tear the bumper off first time you hit a bump...

 

Seriously, no, not even close. You need a specific built winch bumper.
