Have you tried the cutting ball? I know absolutely nothing about the VG30E heads so I am no help whatsoever. The work you have done looks very uniform and carefully worked. It is a tedious, meticulous job, that is why it is so expensive. The labor involved is brutal....

Cutting ball works amazing got through the rest of the ports with it.

Too bad you're not working on the other head too. As long as your in there and doing port and polish work, oh yeah..what's up with the other side? No port and polish? Anyways, I was gonna say as long as your doing all that, why not take your valves to the proper mechanic / technician / machinist, I'm really sure who it would be but to do a 3 angle valve job, that combined with your newly ported and polished and rebuilt heads (knurl the valve guides?) would get you a pretty good boost in hp. Holy crap, I've hit the Motherload! Check it out!

I'm doing both sides the other will be cleaned and ported tomorrow. And then I'll throw it all back together and hope it runs.

Its raining outside so I can put anything together until I clean out space in the garage to push the ol pathy into

Alright finished the heads as far as I'm gonna go, I uploaded a ton of pictures. I'm finally putting this thing back together and the heads are on the truck.

But its time to clean up and get ready for work.

Hopefully its not worse. I think the left head I was able to do way better since I had practice with the right head.

I think if you didn't grind into a water jacket, hit a seat or something similar you did just fine. Sure would be nice to take a stock set and your heads for a flow bench comparison though!!

Definitely, unfortunately I don't have any sort of access to a flow bench. I'll just put my hand at the tail pipe and feel if its pushing more air. ;-)

Its finally almost done. Its running and driving but my timing is just a little bit off. It hesitates a little when I put my foot into it. Its not as responsive as it should be.
