Panhard question

So while my pathy sat this summer sombody cut my panhard rod i cant locate one for a decent price if at all my local jy has one but its bent so my question is

 

What does it do and what would happen if i just removed it?

Some body cut the rear panhard bar? That couldnt of been easy! Or quiet! Anyway, the rear panhard bar centers the rear axle and keeps it from walking side to side. It would be very unwise to drive without one. I would love to see a pic of how it was cut.

I want one for like 60 haha,

 

 

Right now its jacked up so i can replace the lower trailing arms

Get one from a wreckers then...Or call your insurance. It should be covered under fire/theft/vandalism.

It didn't have insurance this summer because it wasn't on the road
