RF600
How many have broken the top neck on the radiator? I for one do. I was wondering what type of clamp was used and possibly that is causing the problem? I had a worm clamp on mine. I'm thinking the factory spring clamp is a better way to go. Precise1
For the top radiator hose? Metal or plastic? Nope, just the filler cap lip (lid wouldn't stay on). I prefer the worm drive myself, I generally only use the spring clamps on barbed fittings. I've never heard of anyone breaking things with them before. More likely just material fatigue or manufacturing flaw? B
adamzan
The one on my old 95 was starting to crumble, but it was the original 95 radiator. Otherwise I've never had any problems. I have the worm gear clamps right now but I like the stock ones better. They seal a lot better in the cold.
RF600
The plastic ones, sorry. It only seems to be the upper is the one to break. I will eventually switch out the radiator. Still holding for now. Knock on wood.
