Best plugs?

The question: standard NGKs vs. NGK Iridium?

I'm seeing both on sale but thought I should ask if members prefer one over the other.

Normal NGK's I have G power in my car right now uses Platinum center electrode

I have used the G power, and the V power (what the pathy came with oem) and didn't really notice a difference. I don't leave my plugs in till it misfires so I couldn't tell you how long each lasted.

I prefer the NGK V power plugs myself. I've installed hundreds of them and he hold up well. Heck, when the V is gone, time for new plugs! They should last for more than the 30k service interval.

Up here it is harder to find the V-power ones. The local stores I buy this stuff from (Canadian tire) and partsource only stock the g-power ones and the more expensive platinum ones. I have to drive across the city to get v-powers...Cheaper to order on rock auto and sit on my ass and wait! lol.

 

I pulled ACdelco plugs out of my current pathy when I went to change them....It actually ran so well I was tempted to buy another set of those!

I run the NGK G power (platinum) only because they are supposed to reduce required voltage and help lower emissions. I have no idea if this is true, but they are cheap enough, work great and last a long time.

The Iridiums are overkill from what I understand.
