My 1995 XE is running really high idle its a manual transmission I checked vacumm hoses still high idle I am in 4th gear at 30 miles an hour cause its idleing so high any thoughts as to why it is idling so high.Seems like it doesnt want to kick back down when I let off the gas pedal. thanks everyone for any suggestions.

How high is it? It could be the TPS or MAF connectors. Get under the hood and give them a wiggle to start with. Have you downloaded a copy of the FSM from the Garage section yet? There is a comprehensive diagnostic system in it.

what did u do to it? ;P i dont know if they vg30's have a fast idle cam. but THEY SUCK. i would check that first if you havent done anything to it recently.
