1987caddy
I'm looking for suggestions on replacing front rotors. I found some slotted and dimpled rotors with pads for $165. I've used their products before but don't know if the upgraded rotors are overkill. Does anyone have any suggestions on part store rotors that aren't junk or just upgrade and wait 10 days for the upgraded ones to ship?
5523Pathfinder
I have a new set of Bosch Quietcast rotors on order right now. I have used several "white box" rotors and had poor luck. I used the Bosch rotors on a friends subaru who's rotors kept warping, and as of right now they are doing great. As I preceded to install them, I noticed that they feel much more robust. I was impressed enough to order some up. Hopefully they will be going on this weekend. I don't see the need for dimple and/or slotted rotors. Our rigs ain't exactly sports cars! 92Path_68CJ
I have drilled rotors front and rear from 4x4 parts.com. I love them. Before that I used NAPA Rotors. Edited March 27, 2014 by 92Path_68CJ
1987caddy
Thanks for the recommendations. Here's the site I was talking about. I put the slotted and dimpled rotors front and rear on a 07 f150. Braking was night and day different. http://brakeperformance.com/brake-rotors/Premium-Dimpled-and-Slotted-Brake-Rotors.php
APACHECHIEF13
Did you try the rotors and brake pads out? If so how do you like them?
