TutorN1
I just bought a sweet 99 R50 this week. I'm wanting to start doing some small mods to it as I have the funds. What are some goods one start with.
bushnut
look through the members rides section to get some ideas. that will show you what's possible and let you figure out what you want to do with your truck
TheAustinHenry
2" Ac coils, strut spacer, wheels/tires, radio, tint. Thats my starting list
jyeager
It depends on what you ultimately expect to accomplish and how long your process of transformation will be. You can start with 31" AT tires and just stop there...
TutorN1
Sorry to just be getting back. Had a 95 before thus one, going to put some 31" BFG on it when these are gone. Not wanting a rock crawler, but looking for a 2" lift, locking hubs, & a set of bumpers. Eventually I have no set time to do this in. Just do some alonge the way. Karmann
I would say put some decent tires on, and then wheel it to see what needs to be addressed. That's what I did, and it saved me a good bit of $$ up front.
theexbrit
Tires, lift locking hubs. Save the bumpers for later, they are expensive unless you adapt another vehicles bumpers as some of us have done.
fleurys
Save money and lift it with hdpe spacers... Huge savings from going the ac springs or ome route .. Have a look here : http://4x4design.com/r50-lift-kit.php S. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
kdj
Put on some Warn hubs first. That'll help you save some money to buy some of the fun stuff. It's probaly the only mod that you can do that will save you money.
