PrestonBurns
Successfully got my warn hubs on last weekend! In the process, I noticed my brake pads are rubbing the rotor. There is absolutely no space between either and I do have a rocking north and south motion whenever I really brake. Are the rotors warped? What about the pads? Also, what new cv axles do y'all reccommend? Are there any that don't require a boot? I plan on purchasing from rockauto. Next up: my TAG Stinger bumper! Ordered it the other day! bushnut
brake pad rotor contact is totally normal. just a factor of disk brakes. are the CV toast? I'd go OEM if possible. or just replace the boots.
PrestonBurns
The boots have been gone for about a year now, I might as well replace the axle ($50) if I'm gonna go through the trouble of getting to the cv's
cvdloc
I would vouch for the napa "life time" cv shaft, but depends on what discount you get, otherwise rock auto would be your best bet. With all the crap that could have got in there with the boot toast, I would recommend replacing it before hard wheeling.
PrestonBurns
Yeah, just ordered the ones through rock auto. A local shop quoted me a steal of a price to install my strut spacers and the cv's, so I don't have to get my hands dirty.
Alkorahil
Successfully got my warn hubs on last weekend! In the process, I noticed my brake pads are rubbing the rotor. There is absolutely no space between either and I do have a rocking north and south motion whenever I really brake. Apply some Molycote to the brake pad shims/pad backs and caliper pins. Dont get it on the rotors or brake pad face (wipe off if you do)

Rebelord
8+ months waiting time. Even after asking for full payment. Shoddy quality and poor craftsmanship. Just Google TAG and Kennasaw Sent from my Moto X!
