GAS
hi all Still sturgling whit the gas milage, I did fill it up whit gas yesterday and 65 Liters went on the tank and the km was only 263 then it is almost 25 L/100KM in city driving in only rear wheel drive it is around minus 5 -7 here now on the selcius scale. What I have done to tray to fix this: New spark plugs K&N filter New Oxygen sensor the truck is just stock on 30" tires and have 176.000 km on it. This is automatic V6 3.0L engine model1990 Does it help to take out the catalyst converter and put just pipe insted ? There is no law in Iceland that tells you to have it in, if the car is older than 1995 Any ideas what to do ?
94extreme
injector cleaner maybe... ~10mi/gal seems a bit low... if you like to breathe fresh air i'd recommend you leave that catalytic converter on...
Precise1
That sounds bad... in the city you should be able to get about 5KM/L easy... Are you a lead foot ?? Does the truck roll freely ? Maybe brakes are rubbing or the universal joints are binding ?? Is the odometer reading correctly ? Something is definitely up !! B
wheelmanLS1
Just as a note... since my speedometer is off, so is my odometer. When I calculate MPG, it gives me 18mpg in the city. So maybe it could be the other way around for you? Just a thought.
