Got my front struts on friday! KYB 1 gr2 and one excell g. I know they are the same inside but why couldn't they send me 2 of the same thing? now I have to paint the silver one to match the black one .

 

Oh yea... one more reason not to buy Canadian. I went to a local 4x4 shop and inquired about KYB gas-a-just rear shocks....they wanted over $100.00ea for them while Rockauto has them for about $50.ea even with shipping and duty it's cheaper to buy from the US. while I would rather support my local shop it seems like gougeing to me.

Yea there is a shop everyone locally to me praises called national4wd. I found their prices (for shocks, and an ARB bumper) ridiculous compared to the US online stores. Plus the guy was arrogant and seemed like every vehicle other than a jeep was a POS. They also, if I were to buy the shocks and bumper, wanted me to pay the shipping to their store. Ended up buying the bumper online, new, for 1/2 the price.

Wow, mismatched inventory, AND more expensive that having it shipped from the US? Yeah, I wouldn't be going there again! I suspect I'd insist on a matching set as well...
