Shock boots - on or off?

Hey, I got a set of RS5000s that are going on within the next couple of days and was wondering whether or not I should put the shock boots on them... I see trucks with and without and was wondering what the dis/advantages are. Do you have your shock boots on or off?

I leave them on but I don't secure them at the bottom. This is so I can get some drainage out of them. I ususally have to pull them up to get all the crap out. That's why alot of people don't use them, but I figured they at least do something in our climate if I remember to clean them out after each run.

Yeah blue is definetly the way to go!

Or yellow...

I used to have this Dodge Ramcharger and I rebuilt the engine and painted it neon green like slimer from ghostbusters...then one day, I saw somebody sold those boots in the same neon green and I was like "yum yum"

(more time spent wondering what colour to paint that truck, than realising it was a huge POS)
