Well, it has been a long time without modding the pathy.

As you know after installing the sfd the front remains a little bit exposed. So I decided to install a front skid plate.... from desition to excecution it took me a long time... but finally here it is

The design was made with a 2mm steel black power coated.

Here are the photos:

Strong work on the front skids.

That looks great!

I've been quoted $500 for a local shop to make one.

projekz: No worries, man....If you put on the SFD, the plastic one no longer fits. B)

Well, you can still make it fit...

...but it won't last long!!!

I liked it for reduced wind resistance (seriously not sure it helped any) and the way it looks with it on (probably the better reason). But it ripped off 3 times in the first 6 months and is now sitting in 2 pieces in my garage (thought I'd use it as a template for a future steel skid).

Nice linky Ramdala. That's some decent stuff!

That drawing may come in handy. I have no way to bend metal, so that drawing may save some $ in design time. I plan to go with just 1/8" steel...with some undercoating spray.

Pathy looks good Rick! Nice to see that with the right rims, I will clear the struts with 33s. :)
