Strange brake problem

Recommended Posts

I have a Pathfinder 1990. Last week I had a special brake problem... Everything was ok in the morning, but after driving few km, I found that the pedal travel was longer a lot to stop the truck!!! I had to press the pedal to the floor to brake...

I stop, I check the oil brake and it was OK, full!!! I test the brake to block the wheel and it was fine with a lot of pressure on the pedal to the floor...

The strange think is: it return to normal the next day without any repair and it's still ok today....

My idea is, I had a jam galiper during this time.... Is anybody have a clue for me????

Thanks!

maybe it has a mind of its own. i have problems and they go away out of no where. like mine truck, one day it's performance is better than a new car and the next day it's the sh!tiest car around. would you believe that cars have personalities?

bleed the brakes.
