What are your opinions on RoughCountry shocks ?

Are they ok for the money ?

 

Here in the uk we Dont have too much choice on aftermarket uprated stuff for wd21's but, I can get all the rough country shocks.

 

How do they compair to Rancho etc, say nitro 9000 vs rs9000 vs ironman foam cell ?

 

They are about the cheapest here in the uk and I'm thinking of going for some

 

We dont get OME in the uk and tbh they seem expensive same with koni and bilsten

I had the nitro 9k's on a ifs gm truck and there not too bad. Cant speak for others but I believe my current Ranchos offer a better ride. But both offer a very firm ride. If your looking for a softer ride look at Monroe's if you can get them.

On road I certainly do, not sure how this would transend to offroad driving as i like to hit dirt tracks at a fair rate, but i guess it would mean they don't bottom out as easy on the bigger hits in quick succesion, at least they are cheap enough to replace if i bend/blow/snap one

 

Price has me edging towards the RC's

You'll like the RC's then. From what I do (sounds about the same as you, I fireroad at 60-70mph) you'll like them. I did notice that the rear would want too spin out a little more then a softer shock would but the trucks are diffrent (I'm talking about full size pickups, my '21 has rancos but its sas'ed with big iron in front)

We have Rough Country's on our plow truck (77 chevy fulesize that won't be plowing too much anymore). They ain't bad but there ain't a whole lot of ride anyway in a 35 year old solid axled full size with a 6" suspension lift to begin with
