KYB Gas-A-Just shocks vs. the stock bolt's diameter

The lower bolt fits perfectly in the lower hole of the shock. But the upper bolt has a smaller diameter than the upper hole in the shock. At the very least it's going to make the shock move around and make clunking sounds as the suspension moves up/down. Has anyone else noticed this and has an easy solution? I can try to find a different bolt but that means I'll have to make the bracket holes larger too.

OK success! I used a piece of hose (gas siphon hose I had laying around), cut a slit in it length wise, pushed it into the shock and then tapped the bolt into it for a solid fit.

Hmm, I'll check the box again but I'm pretty sure there were no sleeves included. I may make one out of aluminum later on my lathe when I have some time. For now I need to get the truck put back together. It's been sitting on the lift for 3 weeks now waiting for parts.

OK guys so looks like someone put the lower bushing into the top of the shock because the second shock was a perfect fit...just my luck! :/ I'll be posting the before and after of my R50 shortly after the full suspension upgrade. :friday:

I remember seeing something about how 96-99.5 have large/small diameter shocks and 00-04 have the opposite orientation, so you have to flip bushings or they'll install upside down.
