tsin Posted April 1, 2012 Share Posted April 1, 2012 Hi, i changed wheel bearings on rear axle but now i have got problem to install rear parking brake. It is wd21 3.0 v6 with rear disc brakes and parking "drum" brake. Is there someone who can explain me instalation of parking brake? Unfortunately i havent got any drum braking car before is there someone who has got photo of complete brake? Or can explain steps how to? I have a left rear caliper with a sticky glide pin that's eaten the whole pad and I'm going to have to dive in this weekend to the rear brakes. Any tips you could share? adamzan Posted February 28, 2014 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Bring it to my house and I'll do it for you lol. Never did fix the parking brake. The discs are fairly easy to work on. One bolt and the caliper flips up. If it doesnt move easily you need to slid it off the pin sand the rust off and lube it with brake grease. Dont use anti seize or anything like that.
