Did I screw up?

I just replied to a post from a few years ago by mistake. I was kick off a site a while ago for "not letting old dogs lie" they said. How old of post can be commented on? Don't want to p*ss anyone off, I was rereading stuff and forgot what year it was.

I wouldn't worry about it. If your post relevant to the topic, I can't imagine why anybody would get annoyed at the bump. I'm not a moderator here though, so take my reply with a grain of salt.

I would say that replying to an old post is better than starting a new thread.. Because often times theres a wealth of information already contained within an old thread..

+1 on that. Don't bump an old thread just to say "hey man that's sweet," but if you've got a question or something to add, it's cool.

O.K. thanks for the info. I've been rereading the old posts and finding lots of good stuff...and lots that have asked over and over again.
