OOOOOk all of you guru's & those that have X's & have lifted them.....

I've seen JEEP's convert the under axle leafs to over the axle...Gives ya lift & also eliminates the leafs getting hung up & the axle housing to slide over things. Has anyone done this with an X? I was thinking about having it done to my wife's X. She want's it lifted & 31's or maybe 33's if possible. MAN I LOVE HER FOR THAT! :sly:

Something else to ponder....

You would more than likely not be able to get the front high enough to compensate for the amount of lift that the SOA (Spring Over Axle) would provide...Not to mention needing longer shocks to compensate for drop, articulation....

It is feasible and easily done with a SOA kit... or a torch and welder...

I have not lifted an X, but I have lifted multiple other vehicles with similar configurations (IFS/Leaf, IFS/IRS, leaf/leaf) etc...

Best of luck to you.
