Towncivilian
Installation can be performed by anyone using simple hand tools. The GF module installs into your NISSAN PATHFINDER's engine bay and is connected via 2 wires that plug into the IAT sensor. Smells like a resistor wired to fool the IAT into thinking the ambient air is colder than it really is or something like that. silverton
That's exactly what it is. tricks your ECU in to running rich. that's all. nothing can "reprogram" the ECU, especially not through the intake air temp sensor, you have to flash the ECU ROM itself. clkindred
I get a kick out of their generic IC pic for the device.
Tungsten
I guess you can use that to correct a lean burning condition but it won't be any good for a stock setup. Then again if your oxygen sensor works properly, it should be able to correct a lean condition. G-Force Chip = Junk!
pathfounder
Gain up to 60hp on a low-compression, naturally aspirated engine which already has an efficient fuel injection system? I don't think so.
ahardb0dy
The web site is funny, every model has it's own part number, like they are all different "chips", the home page says right on it that this product has 2 wires that connect to the IAT sensor = resistor as previously mentioned !! esy
haven't looked at the site, but do they sell electronic BOVs, the interfooler, and the tornado intake? if so, i'm going to have to take the plunge since not many sites sell them all. hahhha. awesome. Gain up to 60 hp...i would think twice before buying such chip.
XPLORx4
The most ironic thing about that on the VG33-equipped R50 is that the IAT is not even used for engine operation at all. It's only used for diagnostic purposes. Fooling the IAT to read a lower temp will have no effect on the engine performance!
