Milos
Can you please tell me what bushings should I buy to make it right? I have no idea about terms, so sorry for nonsense descriptions bellow. I am on the island (Punta Cana, Dominican Republic) and buying mostly from ebay, or searching by code then ordering over Miami to Punta Cana. Here are some images: This should be bushings, but I have no idea, my mechanic Martin (on the next image) says that big rubber is for dust, and not so important (anyway, what it the name of this big rubber?) Mechanic Martin (no it is not Tyrese Gibson from Fast and Furious ): Then what is the name of this rubbers at the top of Shocks? Can I change only the rubber? How about this big rubber, what is the name of it? I bought until now: Tie Rod end dust boots K9515 Strut Rod Bushing Or Kit (x2) Sway bar Bushing Or Kit all above are still in shipping, and today came: Upper control arm bushing Or Kit My questions are: Am I on the good way or not? What is missing still? How about these parts: Energy Suspension Control Arm Bushings Front Upper/Lower Polyurethane Red Nissan (Fits: Nissan Pathfinder 1995) 2 REAR SWAY BAR LINKS FOR NISSAN PATHFINDER 86-95 (Fits: Pathfinder Nissan) 545-1016B Sway Bar Repair Kit Thank you, Milos Korac (I had an error message: Sorry, but you have posted more images than you are allowed to...) 1994SEV6
My Pathy is Squeaky as an old bed, and I love this machine, never left me on the road. What bushings should I buy to make it right? The dust cover in your first picture is called a CV boot. It is pretty important if you want to use your 4wd, otherwise don't worry about it. It keeps the grease in while keeping road crap out. Oh boy, your bushings look almost as bad as mine. Just buy some from Energy Suspensions. The bushings to the right of the CV boot are your sway bar bushings. You're are pretty completely destroyed. I would recommend replacing those. Hmm, looks like you have most of the stuff needed. You are on the right track, but just don't call them 'rubbers' anymore, please. Thanks. Well, they are just bushings, BUT you only need one set to do the whole truck, so if you like the black ones better, just use those!
