RustyButTrusty
Hey does anyone know what of the if the heater seat switches in a 95 pathfinder are illuminated? I know there is an indicator light, but I was wondering if the switch is supposed to light up so you can see it at night?
1994SEV6
I have a 1994 HB and all the interior switches and indicators are illuminated when I turn the switch. My dash lights are linked to the lights behind the heat controls, the shifter, and..I think that's it actually. But everything is illuminated and controlled by the dimmer switch
Tungsten
It depends on the year I guess. Not all of the switches are illuminated on the square dash models. I know this because I have taken them apart to only not find any bulbs.
RustyButTrusty
I fixed them all on my 88. For anyone who cares to know this is a list of everything on the dash that is back lit (not counting indicator lights) in an 88 model. Maybe all square dash models as well? Instrument cluster Cigar lighter Ash tray Glove box Hazard light switch Rear defroster switch Cruise control switch Heater control panel Gear change on automatic transmission in center console Replacement bulbs for all of the switches can be purchased at radio shack. Yes! I can tell you right now from memory that the following are not lit: Power shift mode switch (only has an indicator but no illumination) Rear window release switch Dimmer knob Power mirror control Intermittent rear wiper and washer switch Factory fog light switch (if equipped and indicator only) Power window controls Edited November 11, 2011 by Tungsten
RustyButTrusty
You are correct! Now if only we knew this information beforehand I just was hoping someone could tell me if the seat heater switches are backlit. I'm thinking they aren't, and I really don't feel like taking my center console out just to see. I've gotta find out though, I have this thing where I don't like having burned out light haha. nunya
Hmm I gotta couple switches to tear apart and see if I can get em to light (all that lights on mine is my cluster, heater controls [finally], the coin tray/DD sugar packet storage drawer, and glove box)

adamzan
The power switch, dimmer, and rear window release are all lit on my 95. About the only thing that isn't is the heated seat switches and window ones.
