Kyle94 Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 so, ive had this autopage alarm system for a while now, new in box. ive recently decided that i would like to have a key fob to enter my truck, and why not install the alarm to do so? so ive been looking at the wiring diagram thing on the installation intructions, and online at THIS website. but the wires dont exactly match up, and the alarm has extra wires... so idk what to do now. and i cant afford to have it installed. so first is this... which i MOSTLY understand... then this, which REALLY confused me... continued.... then there is door lock setups.. 1st 5 wire alternating door lock then grounded door unlock for grounded switched door locks... and finally door unlock for positive switched door locks... im really at a loss, im gonna go over to the local audio store and see how much they would charge, but im broke... so yeah Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

birdy99 Posted November 6, 2011 Share Posted November 6, 2011 You need to research relay wiring. Grab the wiring diagrams for your truck and study them. We cant walk u through it because there is too much information for a forum discussion. once you fully understand those two things then you should be ok.
