GApathfinder
Hey! I'm looking for a light bar to throw up top, but wasn't having luck finding one that would fit my 98.. Anyone with lights on their roof have suggestions?
SilverPath
Take one of those flimsy stock crossbars and drill some holes into it. Turn it around in the tracks so the flat edge is facing forward. That way you can get the light as close to the front as possible.
OfftourRoadie96
Did Nissan even make a light bar for the R50? You could start with some sort of basket up top, and start mounting lights from there. OR, you could go the "Home Depot" route and get those angle brackets with the holes in them already, and mount your lights to those. I believe 01 SILVERPATHY went that route. I found that thread of his, and I like that a lot. That's what I'm gonna do honestly, it's easier I would think.
mattyrides07
these are a little more expensive then halogen or hid bulbs BUT THEY'RE WAYYYYYYY WORTH IT (IMHO) https://www.rigidindustries.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=149 And yes, I come from the desert race scene. I've seen these LED lights in person and they're AMAZING!!!!
carwilef7
I'd like to see how you did that, too. Mine doesn't even have the stock rack, just the brackets the thing is supposed to mount to.
