Timmons Posted September 19, 2011 Share Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) Has anyone else had these issue with their heat shields rattling while going through a parking lot at low rpms? Has anyone been able to pin point which one typically rattles? I don't want to remove them all since I live in a hot climate. I had thought about using the metal hose clamps on them but, after examining mine I just grabbed them with my gloved hand a twisted them right off. Phantom01Pathfinder Posted September 19, 2011 Share Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) They will all rattle...half of mine are off and some still remain...been rattling for the past 25k miles, only sitting at stop lights in gear, if in neutral the rattle goes away...Always plan on taking them off but...you know how that goes...
