alterations to the steering shaft when doing a body lift

would anybody be able to tell me what needs to be done with the steering shaft on an 87' Pathy when doing a 2" body lift?

I did a 3"... Just loosen the nut that holds it together near the splines and they will come out as necessary when you jack the body up.

soak it with PB blaster. some of them happen to get the splines seized when they try to extend for a BL.

Yup, the unibody r50 people who do sub frame drops are the ones who have to modify. Wd21 people get away with loosening 1 bolt, a can of penetrating fluid, and sometimes a hammer (I hear they can get jammed up a little for some)
