flyinwall Posted January 15, 2011 Share Posted January 15, 2011 i am in need of some help with the instrument cluster in my 91 turbo diesel terrano it has the tacho on it and the tacho doesn't work is it an electrical pickup or cable (like a speedo, which also doesn't work properly) is there a common problem with these or am just an unlucky person Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DavefromOZ Posted January 15, 2011 Share Posted January 15, 2011 Tach will be electrical pickup, check all connections on the back of the circuit board, I'm pretty sure I've read that they can have loose earth connections which can cut out some components. Precise1 Posted January 15, 2011 Share Posted January 15, 2011 Yep, brass screws in the back should be checked for tightness. This might help, but is an easy first try.
