ahardb0dy
I guess there is a difference between a 4 cyl tranny and the V6 tranny since there are different part numbers for each of them. So will a 4cylinder tranny really not bolt up to a V6? If not what is different?
5523Pathfinder
Bolt pattern is different, first of all. Plus, internal gearing is different. I can try and look up the ratios tomorrow, if you really want to know.
ZombeeXXX
The bellhousing is about an inch smaller diameter on the 4 cyl. Also, the starter is on the top-side.
ahardb0dy
ok, don't worry about looking up the gears, just wanted to confirm they were different, thanks
Soccerstudd5
I wouldn't mind knowing the gearing on the 5 speed behind the V6, I've been curious for a while and haven't been able to find the numbers on it.
5523Pathfinder
Ok, here are the ratios for a 94 Pathfinder. Thats as far back as I can go, but they should be the same. This should be in the Service Manual(paper or online) if you have one. Just for the Service Data & Specifications table.
Soccerstudd5
Thanks 5523, that's what I was curious of.
BoneZ
hay 5523 do you by any chance have access to a dimensioned layout of the v6 transmissions bolt pattern layout and sizing?
