1987caddy
Are the two hoses that go to the accordion tube for the air intake breathers for the valve covers? Want to make a custom air intake so could I just put a breather filter on them instead of running them back into the motor.
tmoore4512
The safest method would be to get a piece of pipe and drill out enough holes for the already existing lines going into your accordion...pick up some grommets (Spectre, or in the Help section) and put em back where they were on the NEW pipe... But to answer your question...I really do not know...
jeremyelvis
not sure exactly what they are i just know your engine wont idle if they are not between you MAF and the throtlebody. i tried a custom intake and found (through trial and error) that it will basicaly have to be the same as stock(meaning same config. with new pipe).thats how mine turned out you could have different results, just sayin whats possible.best of luck Edited July 31, 2010 by jeremyelvis
