travizone
This used to work in my Z's, i was looking to try it in my pathfinder. I'm planning to replace the alternator in the near future but I want to upgrade from the 90 amp to a 125 amp or higher (which maximas have for all their electrical gadgets). I looked at comparable yeared maximas and they seem to have a different location for their alternators, or at least they're configured differently because the torque piece isn't in the same place as the pathfinders. Has anyone done a project similar to this that has some advice?
nunya
No clue on r50s (which I'm guessing you have since you got it marked you have a 96), but it's a fairly common swap for wd21s, just have to swap pulllys and some people have to make spacer for the pully swap(I did). Quest alts. Are also a possibility but require a little more work but net more amps. Search around and maby by then a schooled r50 person will pop in. 180sx
On an R50 you'll have to make some kind of adapter to get the Quest/Villager alternator from a 3.3L to work. Jose
