Same thing as the non-31 trucks body mount wise. Iirc they had the steering stops adjusted differently, and they go a different gear I. The tranny for the speedometer. And your bars are proably sagged out to begin with if they ain't been messed with in a good while.

pathys with 31's came the same as pathys with other sizes. sometimes steering stops were ajusted.

Many shipped with 31's had a 17t or 18t spedo gear (depending on 4.3 or 4.6 gears)

But if they were upgraded @ the dealer (like my sport package in 89) the dealer usually DID NOT correct the speedo gear.

As a result there are allot of Pathys on 31+ out there running a 19t, 20t or 21t... speedo gear(235/75r15 and smaller tires(27"))

Mine came factory with the 4.6 gears and 31's. When I put 235's on it for a short time it seemed to get better gas mileage, but the speed was way off.

As my1path and nunya already stated, body mounts are the same...

Your calculated MPG would improve a bit, since it was geared for 31's and you put a smaller tire on it, the odometer would show that you have traveled more than you actually have.
