with the ac on does your fan clutch stay engaged? where is the dang pressure sensor for the rear hatch? my open door light stays on and i have narrowed it down to there.thanks guys :suicide:

Nope, the stock fan clutch is purely operated by the heat around it. So it will cycle normally depending on under hood temps... but with the AC on, that my be a more frequent occurrence.

 

The switch is located in the body latch, there is a common fix involving shimming it with washers.. explanation is on the forum, don't recall where though. A little searching should turn it up :aok:

Clutch fan works off of temperature. With your AC on the evap coil in front of the radiator will be exchanging heat and the clutch should engage based on the temp level it is designed to do so at...(hope that made sense.)

 

The rear glass or the rear hatch (complete door)?

 

The tire carrier has a sensor located next to the latch assembly...

 

There is a sensor on the rear door as well. IIRC it is inside the latch assembly, accessible only by removing the panel.

 

Been a while since I had mine apart, maybe someone else can chime in...

also what about shifting in 4 lo? for some reason mine doesn't want to shift out of 1st gear in 4lo. but does fine in 4 high. i used it to pull my cousins boat to the lake the other day and had it in 4 lo and it wouldn't shift from 1st to 2nd coming up the ramp but i can stop and put it in 4hi and it's fine.
