Hi all,

My names Chris, im 21 from South Australia, Australia.

Currently i own a 1987 WD21 Terrano Z24S Carby 5 speed manual. Have owned it for about a year now and have spent quite abit of time fixing it up. It has about 303,xxxk on the clock but still runs great and the interior is perfect.

So far ive fitted a set of 31x10.50R15 Nankang FT7 A/T tyres and a set of black 15 x 8 -24 Steel wheels, also fitted rhino roof racks, and Narva 80mm Spotlights.

Its currently in need of a new or recond gearbox as mine has very very noisy bearings and a severly damaged reverse gear after i attempted to reverse it up a hill with a fully loaded car trailer on the back (DOH!!!)

Im also looking at doing a lift kit on it off about 2", possibly using the Ironman 4x4 brand kit or similar. And im also trying to track down the factory wheel flares as mine are missing and desperatley need them due to my wheel track with the low offset steek wheels.

Will post up some pics as soon as i can.

Look forward to picking up lots of useful information/tips and hopefully some spares.

Thanks

-Chris

Welcome Chris!! Sounds like you have done a lot of work to your rig, so how about a picture or two?? :D

There are many Australian members here so I'm sure someone relatively local will be able to help with parts in some way.

I had the Z24 motor in a D720 years ago. A bit low on power, but runs forever!!

G'day Chris, welcome mate. I'm in Perth, there are quite a few of us Aussies loitering here, although I cant remember anyone else from SA.

As B said, the Z24 should run forever if looked after. (I've only ever seen one destroy itself, but that was after a 5000km road trip from Brisvegas to Perth, fully loaded, towing a fully loaded trailer.

Another option for the flares is the Clark Rubber variety, JADM4X4 recently installed them on his, follow this link to check them out

Dont forget to pop into the Aussie section and say g'day.
