beavis0076
so yesterday i heard something loose in my steering column.... didn't take the time to care much as stuff just kind of seems to fall off these days... its become the norm.... but today i lost my blinkers... fuse is good.. pretty sure its related to the noise which is now gone.... any common issues before i start ripping the column apart? ac92pathfinder
i would look at the flasher first. they might be 2 one for emergancy and one for the signals. im pretty sure someone here would verify.
nunya
I know if I disconnect my flasher button I lose turn signals as well... pull the trim off the colum and see if you now gone noise might be something ripped off the turn signal switch
Kingman
There is one flasher for the hazard lights and blinkers, it's up under the driver's footwell near the brake pedal arm. I would tear your center console apart and inspect... Oh, do you hazard lights work? Edited February 16, 2010 by Kingman
Alkorahil
IIRC, if the hazard switch is unplugged, the turn signals will not work. (same circuit)
beavis0076
SCHWEET!!! I just tried to turn the flashers on...(should have tried that right away) and the switch was exactly in the middle of being on and off.... i gave it a flick, and everything is back to normal! woo hoo!
