jberzins
Okay the 1995 pathfinder needs a new timing belt. I am thinking about ordering the kit from courtesy nissan. I did run into this as well though http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Timing-Belt-Kit-Nissan-Pathfinder-1995-VG30E-3-0L-V6_W0QQitemZ110401757321QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item19b4752089. The one from ebay does not include the tensioner stud. My questions are as follows, are there better places to get a kit? Does the ebay kit look like it is worth it? Any hints or possible problems with replacing the timing belt and other parts. Thanks in advance for any possible info.
Precise1
You can order all the parts fron Alkorahil (aka Roy Lacy) who runs a Nissan dealership online store. Good prices and quality parts... Contact information is in Classifieds/Services. You should probably replace the thermostat and coolant bypass hose while you are in there also. B Any hints or possible problems with replacing the timing belt and other parts. There are several indepth threads on exactly this, some quite recent. If you can't use search to find them, let me know... B
drbonz55
i am about to change out the oil seal(S) behind the timing belt cover as well as the belt/ tensioner all of which costs me about $100 from autozone. Are there online repair procedures for this that don't cost arm and leg. ??
