guampath Posted September 4, 2009 Share Posted September 4, 2009 ok i sold my path and got a 1986 nissan 4x4 just wanted to know if anyone knew what the hell is going on ok its a napz with weber 40's the problem that im having is trying to start the engine it will start to crank then you will hear a ping or something and it will stop cranking the starter is good tested it. can anyone know what can be wrong with it one other problem im having is when i did have it running i can rev it till it wants to shoot flames but wheni put it in gear and let off the clutch it will kill its self tryed to pop the clutch and go but still kills its self (i need to redo the fuel lines not setup right) thanks guys hope someone can help me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

nunya Posted September 4, 2009 Share Posted September 4, 2009 Recently went through a similar issue with my work truck(I knwo a big block GMC is a little different than a Nissan) Ended up being an intermal problem in the distributor, making me agree with check timing first and let us know.
