you can get the parts at autozone and other places as well as at the dealer.. it's all expensive any way you go.. best to do all three pieces but that probably a couple of hundred at least. it's been a while since i looked into it.

Well, if the 87 owner emails me back with a response to when I can come get parts off his truck....I think i'll grab the section of the cableing, and try to get some sort of clamp that i can pinch two wires together in...kind of like one of those nifty splice connectors....

 

gah i hate rust
