Cyril
G'Day all I'm Cyril from Newcastle in Australia and have joined this Forum because of the wealth of knowledge that you guys and girls have on the pathy . Well have got a WD21 92 Pathy which is almost finished doing the engine box conversion from the Z24 with 5 speed to a 3.8Ltr V6 Holden Commodore Motor with a T700 auto G/Box . A Surge Tank to help will the hills , 2'' Billet Alloy Body Lift and a H/Duty Tailshaft . Next is the exhaust and then engineering . DavefromOZ
G'day Cyril, good to see you figured out the image posting. For all ppl in US/Canada, I believe the 3.8 V6 commodore engine is the same as the Oldsmobile 3.8l V6 in the states. Should move a little better than the Z24

Precise1
Welcome Cyril!! It looks like you have done a lot of good work!! I can't wait to see pictures of it on the trails. Now, if you would be so good as to set your front bumper down and back away slowly, we won't have any trouble here... I believe the 3.8 V6 commodore engine is the same as the Oldsmobile 3.8l V6 in the states. Should move a little better than the Z24 Having owned a Z24, I'd say most anything can move a little better... B

Harvey
G'day Cyrl, is your V6 from a VN or VP? I know they changed these internally between the models. Also coming from the Z24 did you buy the ECU and wiring loom from the donor car or go after market such as Motec, EFI, Pectel etc?
Cyril
G'day Cyrl, is your V6 from a VN or VP? I know they changed these internally between the models. Also coming from the Z24 did you buy the ECU and wiring loom from the donor car or go after market such as Motec, EFI, Pectel etc? It's from a VP Calais , just bought the whole car and wrecked it . Used the original ECU and wiring harness and got the local auto eleco to join the pathy wiring with the Marks Adapters Loom and when i got it back recut the wires and put them into the waterproof eleco box ( it's the white box on the drivers side ) . Was thinking to go the VR or VS motor but the VP was a snappier motor appariently .
