WD21 3" BL Front Bumper Question

Alright so I've had my BL for about two years now and am getting tired of pushing the bumper back up to it's intended location every few days. After the BL I used the "extension bracket" for the lower bolts but the upper bolts I couldn't do anything with. So I zipped tied, etc. The bottom bolt will hold the bumper on but it tends to droop after a day or two

 

If anyone is out there who didn't get an aftermarket bumper/fab up a new one and decided to keep your original what have you done to keep the bumper in place???

Here is my method I used for my body lift bumper relocation.

I cut and re-joined the two bumper irons as per the following pictures.

 

1, Mark a line where the cut will be.

2, Cut in half.

3, Measure the height and stager the joins to suit the body lift and weld back together.

Not shown is some extra bracing to plate the joins to secure them, the above picture was just tac welded.

This was for a 2 inch body lift. For a 3 inch or more you would need to make some triangular gussets to support the two halves in this instance.
