adamzan
mine is annoying, as you can see the tank isn't "empty" yet. The light will glow in and out. And once it gets onto the E and below, it'll go steady....Annoying at night! Edited November 24, 2008 by redfinder
Precise1
I fill up at 1/4 tank. You never know when that 1/4 tank may be important... B
silver97ex
I am getting really low on this tank so I might just put a two gallon caddy in the back just in case the light doesn't come on.
silver97ex
So I put a two gallon gas caddy in the back and drove till either a light came on or it started to sputter. Is it possible that on my 95 SE the check engine light is the gas light? Last night I was driving and the check engine light was acting like a gas light. It would go on but if I pushed in the clutch to coast, it would go off. Just like a typical gas light does when it first starts to go on. It never went on solid. When I saw that I filled up and it took 19.7 gallons at just over 305 miles. ~15mpg It has not gone on since I filled up so I can only imagine that the check engine light is my gas light. I have seen "check gauges" lights used for fuel but never check engine. Any thoughts on the check engine light for fuel? Seems kinda odd to me. silver97ex
Any ideas if it is possible that my CEL could be what tells me I am low?
