02PATHFINDER Posted October 30, 2008 Share Posted October 30, 2008 my brother has a 96 pathfinder it has bout 140k miles and he has been having a problem while he drives the car will just stall out with no warning he is able to start it right back up though afterwards we pulled codes po325 knock sesnsor bank 1, single sensor po136 o2 sensor circuit malfunction , bank 1 , sensor 2 po156 o2 sensor circuit malfunction bank 2 , sensor 2 im assuming that means i need to change the O2 sensors and the knock sensor but can this be the reason why the truck keeps stalling? , sumdays it will drive with no problems and other days it wont also i dont know which ones to buy on oxygensensors.com it gives me 4 options Sensors are available for the following locations: 1. PRE-CAT LEFT 2. PRE-CAT RIGHT 3. POST-CAT LEFT 4. POST-CAT RIGHT A/T Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Precise1 Posted October 30, 2008 Share Posted October 30, 2008 It can't hurt to check the wiring/connections before you spend the $. Should just take a few minutes. Also, there has been a rash of ignition switch problems as of late. silverlion Posted October 30, 2008 Share Posted October 30, 2008 I had a similar issue with the truck stalling when I would come to a stop. It threw out all kinds of codes. I read somewhere, maybe on this site or a Nissan Repair site, about the throttle pos. sensor being bad or in need of adjustment. Luckily, mine just needed adjustment.
