Are the AC bushing better than stock?

Yes. The AC bushings are made of polyurethane, while the stock bushings are rubber. The major caveat to installing the AC poly bushings is that it's not easy to remove the stock bushings from the control arms and install in the new ones without appropriate tools.

Replaced the stock ones due to swaying of the rear at freeway speeds. In the future, would like to find aftermarket arms or at least install polyurethane bushings.

If you kept the old arms, you can simply buy replace the bushings with poly's and swap the arms out whenever it's convenient for you. Nobody sells arms with poly bushings preinstalled.
