adamzan
Hey guys, just after repairing the two rust holes under my rear seat, I've noticed that on the side where I could see the muffler it is getting somewhat hot under the rear seat. Is there supposed to be some kind of heat shield under there? Or is it nothing to worry about. It isn't like scorching, but it is quite warm to the touch. Also I noticed that when they put my new cat on, it burned off all the under coating in the area. Can I re-undercoat it and not have it come off again, or did they put the cat too close to the body? It was a universal cat fyi. Thanks a lot!
sammyb33
why not just paint it with some high heat paint then?
MY1PATH
I dunno, ever since they put that new cat in there, there is a lot more heat coming out from under the truck thats funny, when I went to a high flow cat I lost my heated driver seat option.(I think it was pretty cloged)
