Normal startup?

Hi, I wanted to pick y'all's brains. Are pathfinders supposed to start like this when cold? My vid here just doesn't seem all that normal. I have had a tune-up recently as well as a new batt. You can also hear a sort of screech right when the engine catches. Is that the starter or just a simple belt issue?

Here's the vid, it sounds faint because I had to take it inside, but you can get the idea:

Also, do I have a lifter tick?

Thanks for any help...

I didnt hear the little screach sound but that may just be one of the belts slipping just a tad when things start to spin, or just belt noise....mine does it too sometimes and I just put new alternator and ps belts on the other week....I think they have stretched just a bit so I need to tighten them up.

that valve tick that lasts for a second or two is pretty common with these engines, mine does it sometimes, so does a friend of mines, and so do a bunch of others I have heard about. Its not damaging and really nothing much can be done about it from what I have been told.

Its typically the first start of the day....before the oil has been fully circulated through the engine.

I notice it happens more so during the colder weather season.

The only thing that helps with that ticking is using some Lucas Oil Stabilizer. I use about 500ml every second oil change. On the changes where I don't use it, I get the tick.
